Payments
Payment is required on completion of work .
We accept EFT, credit card, or cash.
Late payments may attract interest and recovery costs.
Quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Any changes or extra work outside the original quote may incur additional costs.
Property & Site Preparation
Tree work can involve heavy machinery. While we take every precaution, some impact to lawns, gardens, or surrounding areas may occur.
Please move any items of value from the work area (vehicles, furniture, pots, play equipment, etc.).
Ensure the yard is free of rubbish, loose debris, and animal droppings for the safety of our crew.
If you’d like extra precautions taken (e.g., protective mats, smaller sectional cuts), let us know so we can adjust the quote.
Council Approval
Development Application (DA) approval is required. HRTC will assist, advise, and guide you through this process; however, it remains your responsibility to ensure that all legislative approvals have been obtained.
Stump Treatments
Stump grinding waste (chips) will be left on site unless otherwise agreed.
Some stumps may re-shoot even after treatment. Further treatment can be arranged at additional cost.
Documentation
Insurance certificates of currency are provided free of charge.
Additional documentation may attract an administration fee.
Cancellations & Termination
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled work.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, a cancellation fee may apply.
Insurance & Safety
Hunter River Tree Care holds full public liability insurance ($20 million) and workers’ compensation cover.
All work is carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
